The floor of Shanghai Geyue Light Steel Villa consists of a cold-formed thin-walled steel frame or composite beam, floor OSB structural panels, support and connecting parts. The materials used are oriented strand board, cement board, and plywood. These light-weight floors can withstand loads of 316 to 365 kilograms per square meter. The weight of the floor structure of the light steel villa is only one-fourth to one-sixth of the weight of the traditional concrete slab system in China, but the structural height of the floor will be 100-120 mm higher than that of the ordinary concrete slab.
